LifeCalendar — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-01-25
LifeCalendar is privacy-first. Your life happens in time — we only help make it visible.
LifeCalendar does not sell data, does not show ads, and does not use third-party analytics.
Overview
LifeCalendar helps you create a reliable, readable record of your life anchored in time. It integrates with Apple system apps (Calendar, Reminders, Files) but does not replace them. If you stop using LifeCalendar, your data remains in your Calendar, Reminders, and files.
Data We Collect
We do not collect personal data on our servers.
- No account is required.
- No tracking across apps or websites.
- No third-party analytics SDKs.
- No advertising identifiers.
Permissions Used (and Why)
Location
LifeCalendar can use your location to detect meaningful stops and keep the calendar accurate, including when the app is not open (if you grant “Always” permission). Location is used for app functionality only.
Calendar
LifeCalendar requests access to your calendar to create life events. The Life Calendar on your device is the source of truth.
Reminders
LifeCalendar requests access to reminders to anchor documents and intentions in time.
Camera
LifeCalendar uses the camera to scan documents and anchor them in time.
Files / iCloud Drive
Documents you save remain your files. If you choose to store them in iCloud Drive, they are stored in your iCloud account and follow Apple’s iCloud security and privacy model. LifeCalendar does not upload your files to any third-party servers.
How Your Data Is Used
- To create and update events in your Apple Calendar.
- To create and link reminders related to your documents and events.
- To let you scan and store documents you choose.
- To show you your timeline in a clear, readable way.
Sharing
LifeCalendar does not share your data with third parties. Any sharing you perform (for example, exporting a document or sharing a calendar event) is initiated by you using Apple system share controls.
Data Retention
LifeCalendar does not retain your personal data on external servers. Your events remain in your Apple Calendar until you delete them. Your reminders remain in Apple Reminders until you delete them. Your documents remain where you saved them (on-device or in iCloud Drive) until you delete them.
Children’s Privacy
LifeCalendar is not designed to collect data from children and does not collect personal data on servers. If you believe personal information was provided, please contact us (see below).
